I am not really a t-shirt kind of girl but I couldn’t resist this one from Threadless. My office buddy Browny and I often order things from the Internet at the same time and have them sent to our office. Much hugging and squealing ensues once our goods arrive and it was no different when our Threadless package came last week. It’s just like the jacket! I just need my sequined white glove and chimp called Bubbles and I’m set.

1. Flat Ankle Boots - At the beginning of the whole ankle boot craze I bought a pair of grey suede boots with a fairly substantial heel becasue I felt like Melanie Griffiths in Working Girl while wearing them. I don’t wear them very often because they hurt my feet and make me look like a weird Willy Wonka stretched-in-the-T.V amazon woman. So I have decided I need a pair of little flat pixie-esque boots like these ones…

2. The Perfect White T-Shirt - You know the one I am talking about. Loose fitting but not baggy, man style cut but with a large neckline. And quite thin material but still flattering without showing off all your lumps and bumps. Like this one from American Apparel (which is now available in Australia!)…

3. Mid Size heels - I am a freaky five foot 8 girl with dancer’s posture so needless to say I am huge. And while all my fabulous heels and stacked platforms look fantastic when I am alone in front of my mirror it’s quite a different story when I am in public amongst the normal sized folk. I want a lovely pair of kitten-ish sized heels in a neutral colour like tan or brown. Like these gorgeous ones on Etsy…

4. Crispy White Knickerbockers - What a quirky alternative to the white summer dress! I have been wanting a pair of these for ever. Unfortunately you need legs up to your armpits and below zero body fat to pull them off but how wonderful they would look with a relaxed fit singlet top and roman sandals. These ones are sized for little girls but they so funky…

5. Red Heart Shaped Sunnies - I like these ones in particular because the shape is soft and they aren’t glittery some other ones I have found. Strictly to be worn with a head scarf while sucking a red lolly pop…

After months of lusting after gorgeous dresses and shoes belonging to Sytle Bytes I am delighted to tell you that the source of all her powers, European fashion chain Zara, will hopefully be in Australia soon. According to The Australian (7th September) Soloman Lew (big arse business tycoon) owns the rights to opening the store in Australia. It looks like Bondi Junction will be the choice location for the lucky beach beauties who live in the area. In case you don’t already know the appeal of Zara is the fact that their clothing lines are overturned every three weeks meaning the cruddy crap that no likes gets ditched in favour of stuff that is selling like hotcakes. Prices are a fraction higher than your average Sportsgirl but you will come away looking like an individual. And here is the part I love - by the time you’re wearing your gorgeous loose-fitting yet flattering matte black leather mini-dress it’s too late for anyone else to go in and buy it because it won’t be for sale anymore! Oh Zara, I eagerly await your arrival at our fair shores…
