*watched “Romance and Cigarettes” – odd film – with Charming Matt

You all look so gorgeous! I love love LOVE that SJP top – it’s the sort of thing I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find in shops, but with no success! I wonder if I could commission her to make me one? *dreams*

You look great. This weekend I have been mostly staggering around like a zombie: having gone in the opposite direction to Mr Smaggle, I am getting in 3 or 4 hours sleep each night. But I made a healthy contribution to the Aussie economy while I was there so I am looking forward to wearing my new things when normality resumes.

Re: reading blogs while travelling – it’s one of the few things you can do that bring a little familiarity into the day.

My weekend consisted of putting the garden to bed after a glum wet summer, scoffing the last lovely strawberries we found whilst doing it.

I then spoilt it all by falling over whist carrying a set of step ladders. I’m covered in rung-shaped bruises and my knees hate me. Boo.

I had a rehearsal for my jazz-dance concert. I spent the other 47 hours trying to get some sleep – most of the time I was foiled by the 6-yr-old busily poking me in the face.
