Theatre - Daily Style
Today was super busy again but I am just about to leave and go out to the theatre with Mr Smaggle and some friends to see Phillipe Genty. The shows travel all around the world so if you get the chance to see one I highly recommend it because his work is incredible.
* Opaques from Coles
* Shoes from Gertrude St in Melbourne
* Skirt from Valley Girl
* Top thrifted
* Earrings from Diva
* Head band from Equip
Today’s outfit is basically a walking advertisement for all the stores that I hate. You know the ones where you get served by orange-faced twelve year olds who sing along inappropriately to the thumping club music (which in itself is inappropriate) and call you ’sweetie’? God I hate myself for being such a tight arse and supporting the hideous epidemic of cheap chain stores…
Love Lady Smaggle

Your skirt looks so cute with the nice ribbon belt!
I feel your pain about these shops, but you look lovely! That bow is so, so good.
Good work with the spoils of evil chain store shopping!
I went into Diva today and was followed around by an orange-faced 12 year old who thought I was shoplifting and made me open my handbag for her to look in.
Never again!
Totally cute! I love the way the wide shoulder line and hem contrast with the belt for that hourglass silhouette.
Hahaha, I feel the same way. Last time, I swear the girl at Diva was 12 and she was all ‘Hey, darlin…’ and I was like ‘Cool. Bail’
That skirt is mighty cute though.
I am SO WITH YOU on those shops. I don’t know why I put myself through it, although I suspect being on a uni budget and needing new things to amuse myself has a big part.
Now now girls; let’s remember that these awful creatures will one day evolve into real people, with, you know, a sense of style and self that extends beyond the realm of what they read in ‘Dolly’.
Until that time it’s best just to give them a wide berth, or a withering glance if required.
You’re looking lovely as always Lady S! Xx
lovely:)
Love the outfit, especially the bow. I loathe chain stores as well, but I always end up shopping in them anyway! I always wonder where girls’ mothers are when they are dressed and acting trashy and they’re young. I’m turning into an old prude and I’m only 21!
LOVE the outfit!! Keep ‘em coming
Hahaha, I DO know those 12yr olds. It’s weird when ppl younger than yourself call you ’sweetie’ or ‘darls’…
And how did you get your skirt so poufy?? I want my skirt like that!
Love how the skirt flares out perfectly…
I must ask where are you taking your photo’s because is that an outdoor ashtray Imelda spots in the second shot?
So much black and white on you these days!
Love the outfit, specially the top! Oh, chain stores, what can I say … I have to confess to purchasing from them. I love clothes, but I am simply not willing to pay oodles of money for them, I’d much rather spend my moola on books & music & a teeny little work of art.
Oh yes, I know the stores, but lady when you look that good, it doesn’t matter!
