Leg Warmers - Daily Style
No my dear, your eyes are not deceiving you. I am now a pioneer for the ultimate accessory of the 80’s. The leg warmers. Now I know that one or two of you little Vogue-ettes out there will tell me that leg warmers had their come back months ago and that they are now a defunct fashion item for the second time but I’m hitting back with the following two points.
1. How many people have you actually seen wearing leg warmers? I know every 15 year girl bought them from Sportsgirl when they had them in every colour but I am yet to see a person (who isn’t Japanese) wearing leg warmers. If no one wears them then they aren’t a trend. So bite me.
2. It’s winter. Shut your face.
Today I have a really big headache that is causing me to snap at mythical teenaged bitches who are paying me out about my questionable footwear. I have a million things to do before I leave and that is making me even more cranky. On the plus I had a delicious weekend so I’m still feeling pretty tops from that…
* Black opaques from Myer (which keep falling down, forcing me to hitch at them and do lunges in public to get them to go back to my crotch where they belong)
* Dress from Ebay
* Cardigan from SES
* Shoes from Zu
* Leg warmers from American Apparel
* Necklaces Smaggle Made (the pendents were both thrifted)
* Head band from Equip
* Hair bow from Sportsgirl
Love Lady Smaggle
P.S Words to the wise about leg warmers - If you wish to exacerbate your sausage dog figure (super long torso and short stumpy legs) wear leg warmers a lot. I shall now be calling this pair the ‘leg stumpifiers’.

Miss Bella - you have now begun to worry me - this in my books goes down with the same ring on both hands thing……no no no no no no no - get them off - S.T.A.T
I like em. mostly because my childhood hero was Rainbow Brite and I think she had a pair in red.
btw what colour nailpolish is that? it looks purple. is it purple?
i love them. a few months ago, my beau and i visited paris and the weather was a bit chilly. i brought along black, grey and teal warmers and they kept my legs fashionably warm for hours upon hours of sight-seeing.
I have seen a lot of people in leg warmers, but you make them look so elegant. Most of the time they look a bit sporty.
Gina - STAT? You watch too much Greys. And get stuffed mofo. You wear too much fake tan.
Na - Why thank you. Just trying something a little different. The nail polish is actually blue. From the post I did last week.
Natasha - Thanks! I was going for elegant but I wasn’t sure if I was pulling it off!
Amy - Well I’m heading to Japan at the end of year and I’m thinking they will be my staple. They are super warm and lovely.
My Tan is real Bizatch!!!!!!!!!
Gina - Really? Then why do you always smell like cat piss?
I will have you know that that is the holiday skin mosituriser that gradually builds a tan - not your usual fake tan woman!
Gina - Well I guess that’s why it’s a faint smell…
work those leg warmers
bottom line is, theyre for warmth and comfort.
Julia - Thank you!!! And my toes were super warm and toasty all day.
