Hair
Spending every night for the past three weeks at the theatre has left me little time to watch T.V so I have been watching one or two episodes of Degrassi High on DVD while eating my dinner at the ridiculous time of 5pm. Daddy Smaggle walked past during one of the episodes and made a comment about how stupid Spike’s hair is. I freakin LOVED her hair and since watching the episodes in adulthood I never really put her hair in a modern context. It’s rather bizarre. But the 12 year old inside me still thinks she is awesome. Even though she got knocked up in year 8. And yes I know that a few of you will sneer at these pictures and the word ‘fugly’ may be thrown around but just ask yourself what would you think if one of the Facehunter girls was snapped with a do like this? I think we all know the answer…
And this got me thinking about other hairstyles that I coveted and whether or not they would be easily translated into the noughties?
Jessica Rabbit’s bright red wavey mane.

Stephanie Tanner’s crazy curls and asymmetrical ponies. She also had a hair crimp-er. So cool.
Punky Brewster’s little piggy tails and shaggy fringe. Seriously this could be a picture of me when I was 6…
Stephanie Zinone from Grease 2. I actually thought her roots were cool. I kind of still do just a little…
What do you guys think? Would any of you take a step back in time to emulate the do of a past idol?
I’m about to do something a little crazy to my hair next week. I’m not sure whether I should post a dress rehearsal (because with bobby pins and hairspray I can kind of fake the look) or should I bite the bullet and deal with the consequences later? Advice is needed!

Don’t ask for advice - just do it, and surprise us! (is it a mohawk?)
Ha ha! Not a mohawk but it is a little strange… hopefully it will look super funky and not weird at all!
